Course overview

Transactional Analysis (TA) is a therapy based on the idea that we take our behaviours, feelings and thoughts from childhood into our adult relationships. TA therapy works by challenging the current beliefs a person holds and the games they play in relationships. With the awareness of the problematic behaviours and cognitions, individuals can make the choice to positively change the way they see themselves and their relationships with others.

TA has wide applications in clinical, therapeutic, organisational and personal development and would be a useful adjunct to those already qualified in related fields such as counselling, stress management and psychotherapy.
