For graduates of the Non Surgical Footcare Course

Level: Practitioner QLS level 4

By successfully completing this course, you will:

  • Gain skills and knowledge to convert your Non-Surgical Footcare Course to become a Foot Care Specialist – graduates of this course can also obtain professional liability insurance
  • Receive the Certificate of Achievement at QLS Level 4*
  • Become a Registered BSY Foot Care Specialist
  • Be awarded the professional BSY Diploma
  • Be eligible to become a member of AHCP (Association of Complementary Practitioners)

Footcare Specialist requires 4 essential sessions of practical training; if you have already completed 2 days under Non-Surgical Footcare, there are an essential 2 sessions of practical training required.

Course overview

*This course is designed for gradates of the Non Surgical Footcare course who wish to advance their knowledge into the application of scalpel use.* 

Feet in a poor condition can lead to discomfort, pain, disfigurement and reduced mobility. It is estimated that we will walk the equivalent of 3 times around the earth in our lifetimes and a range of foot conditions may result. Many of these conditions can be easily and effectively treated by the Footcare Specialist, enhancing the clients’ sense of ease and wellbeing.

      • Use of the Scalpel
      • Hard Skin
      • Corns

Practical training

Footcare Specialist requires 4 essential sessions of practical training; if you have already completed 2 days under Non-Surgical Footcare, there are an essential 2 sessions of practical training required.

*BSY currently charges £85 per day. For any practical training workshop or assessment organised independently of BSY, BSY shall have no liability to any person for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, resulting from the workshop or assessment, any fees due will be agreed between you and the assessor.
