Sports and Fitness is a natural part of human life like breathing, sleeping and eating! But as adults, our capacity and our inclination for exercise and healthy living can be eroded by sedentary jobs and lifestyles. As children, we rushed around with seemingly endless energy. As adults there is a danger of falling into the pattern of lethargy, lack of fitness and weight gain.

So it becomes necessary to take planned exercise and to generally look after our physical fitness, for not only does the body deteriorate if it is not used, the health hazards of a sedentary life increase. Heart and lung function, blood pressure, cholesterol levels, stamina, body weight and fitness levels all improve with correct lifestyle. Getting fit relieves tension and stress thus reducing adrenalin levels in the bloodstream, which improves both physical and mental health. Perhaps, just as important, physical fitness simply makes us feel good.
