BSY is a registered college with CCC, a registered charity and professional body set up in 1998 with its own Code of Conduct and Complaints Procedure for registered counselors to adhere to.
Students of our counselling courses are eligible for membership entitling them to use ‘CCC Registered Councellor’ on their stationery.
Unlike many other professional counselling organisations, Counselling™ does not charge for membership.
All registered counsellors and psychotherapists have a recognised level of counselling qualification. They agree to work to the same code of conduct and, in case of complaint, are subject to an independent complaints procedure. Counselling™ believes that the counselling relationship is not an equal relationship, and that the most important person in the relationship is the client and not the counsellor.
Their straightforward code of conduct is based upon the principle that the counsellor always acts in the best interest of the client.
