Indian Head Massage courses

Indian Head Massage courses

Indian Head Massage is based on the ancient traditions of massage and the ayurvedic system of healing that has been practised in India for thousands of years.

Traditionally, the techniques were applied to the head and hair only, but modern Western interpretations incorporate the upper back, shoulders, upper arms, neck and face.

Indian Head Massage has a powerful energy that is both subtle and deep. It can be both invigorating and relaxing, depending on the body’s needs at the time, and offers many benefits to all aspects of a person’s wellbeing – physical, mental and spiritual.

This simple but effective therapy uses a variety of techniques, pressures and rhythms. It is performed with the client seated, fully clothed, and can incorporate an optional oil massage of the scalp.

One day of practical training is required. Full details available on request.
